Since I had never heard of Jimmy John's, I stopped in for a sub yesterday. The overwhelming welcome must be a running joke because one of the patrons greeted me with, "welcome to Jimmy John's," as I walked by her table. When I reached the counter all of the employees eyed each other and finally one of them gave me the standard welcoming. After I ordered, it took about thirty seconds for them to hand me my sub. Honestly, I was in and out of the shop in less than five minutes. I give them kudos for handing me the wrapped sub and saving the earth by skipping the plastic bag and napkins that I didn't need. The homemade bread made this sub worthwhile, especially since it lacked an abundance of meat while boasting a whole lotta lettuce. Still, JJ's food is way better than Subway and they deliver!

I ordered from this location for our company's lunch meeting. I will say that the online ordering is very easy and that they delivered the product at the specified delivery time. I have rated Jimmy Johns as such for the following reasons: 1.) The online ordering says NOTHING about a delivery fee, and then at checkout you're asked if you want to leave a tip. I obliged and left an 18% tip because I didn't see a delivery fee, and felt it'd be fair to do so. I viewed my emailed receipt, and that did not even mention anything about a delivery fee, so I was content with my tip. Upon receiving our order and paper receipt however, I realized that we were charged $21.38 for delivery when we are only 5 minutes away! We ordered 10 subs and 7 drinks. It came in two small boxes which the driver was unwilling to bring in to the building, and called for us to come out to get. This delivery charge is insane! 2.) The drinks arrived completely watered down with barely any ice left inside, and we didn't received one incorrect drink. 3.) The sandwiches were mediocre at best. The bread was very chewy, they lacked flavor, small amount of freebie toppings compared to other companies, and quite expensive for the size of what they were. 4.) It's ridiculous that sides, such as a very small bag of chips, cost $2.00 or more and they offer no combos online. I will not order from Jimmy John's again; whether it is for personal or professional purposes. After $140.00, I could have done something much more for our employees that tasted much better, and filled us up completely without getting ripped off. BUYERS BEWARE: Do not tip beforehand to make sure they do not rip you off with a delivery fee as what I incurred. I would rather eat a Publix sub, Firehouse sub, or a Subway sub where I can get more for my money, and have a better tasting sub.

Absolutely terrible! We found a long hair in our sub as we unwrapped our sandwich at their location. When we ask the manager for an new sandwich, she plainly refused. She said it was our hair, and they were too busy to deal with it. Asked us to get out of the line and ignored us. We have given business to this location weekly for a good year. We will never come back again.

Jimmy Johns makes a great sub. With places like this, Publix, and Jersey Mike's, I don't understand how Subway and Sobiks are still around. I don't know how they do it, but at lightning fast speed, JJ throws together a sub that is delicious. I order the #13 - veggie sub. It has some kind of avocado spread in it that I LOVE...which is pretty amazing considering how much I hate avocado. That, and the fact that I walk a four mile round trip from my office to go to Jimmy Johns should tell you how good this place is.

It's Jimmy John's.. thats all I should have to say. Their food is consistent and yes, its fast. Giving up carbs? Try the unwich! It is the same sandwich only wrapped in lettuce instead of bread!

I am so freaking happy that they finally opened one in Winter Park. I would have to drive all the way out to the one's by UCF. The best thing there is the Unwich sandwiches which are the whole entire sub and condiments, but no bread! It's wrapped entirely in lettuce,so if your on a low carb diet, then this is the place to go. The gargatuen, which I have just attempted once is like 10 meats squeezed onto one sub for 8 bucks. If its your first time, you have to try their freshly baked baguettes. Next the unwich, then if your feeling healthy but want the carbs, try their freshly made whole wheat sandwich bread. The beachclub which is turkey, provolone cheese, avocado spread, mayo, tomatoes, cucumbers, and alfaya sprouts. So if your in the winter park area, you will love this place. Oh ya, their jimmy johns bbq chips are great too.

I've never had an issue with JJ's and we eat at many of their different locations throughout Orlando - until our last visit to THIS location. I get the exact same order every time I go, and this time there was no XTA avocado spread as I requested. Well in calling to ask for a refund of JUST THAT DOLLAR AND CHANGE, I was met with denial and rudeness and hung up on multiple times as I attempted to get the managers information. On the final phone call, one of the staff members proceeded to pretend to speak in an English accent - as if I am an idiot...meanwhile I'm getting more and more infuriated. Upon contacting corporate and then finally by the owner, HE ACCUSED ME OF LYING - that there were "holes" in my story and told me if I didn't return to his store, then he didn't really care but was not going to issue any refund unless I brought the sandwich back (THREE DAYS LATER MIND YOU). He said someone had offered to bring us a new sandwich - which was an outright lie, so apparently he takes his staffs word over a customers, period. This issue stopped being about avocado after the very first phone call...it then became about his staff being rude and hanging up on customers. I cannot even believe something this small, turned into something so ridiculously infuriating. We'll never return to this location and am appalled by the owners attitude. Being a manager myself, I would never dare to speak or treat a customer the way he did - no wonder his staff acts as they do - they are learning from him.

This restaurant has nothing that stands out from other sub shops. There's nothing they do different that you couldn't make at home. Their subs are ok but it's something I wouldn't eat again. Subway and firehouse subs have unique tastes to them, jimmy johns has to be the worst sub shop I have ever eaten at and I would not recommend them

Good sandwiches great service and they are fast. Get the Italian it's great but don't miss out on the others go back for more. They will deliver within a few mile radius which is cool if you are close. Everything is made fresh and veggies are cut fresh. I really prefer this over Subway, Quizno's even Publix Subs. If your worried about the bread get a Unwich is is basically a lettuce wrap. Check it out you'll enjoy it.

I'm not sure what it is about the sandwich I got from Jimmy John's, but it was delicious. I stopped in to give them a try, having been next door at Bahama Nails getting a pedicure. The menu was basic and I ordered one of the main sandwiches (i think it was called "The Pepe"). The person who took my order was super friendly; so was the girl behind the counter making the sandwiches. I sat down after ordering, expecting a short wait but my sandwich was constructed at lightning speed and I was on my way with my take out in literally less than a minute! When I got home, I expected to bite into a typical sub (after all it was just some ham and lettuce and cheese with a few extra toppings), but I don't know why it was just so delicious. The bread and the ingredients were fresh and it tasted more than just your ordinary sub. I will definitely go back, not only for the close proximity to my residence but the super fast and friendly service and the oh so yummy taste!

I love Jimmy John's and this location is honesty the best! Other locations are not as good as this one. I come here so much the employees know my order by heart! They are very very very fast! Sometimes I am seriously in there for 60 seconds! My sandwiches are usually done before I am finished paying. Even if there's a long line I never wait more than 3 minuses total. I absolutely love the employees, very friendly people! And the place is neat and tidy. Oh yeah the sandwiches are delicious of course!

I don't know what it is they put on this sandwiches. . . They are amazing. The bread is great, and their coldcuts are always fresh. My sandwich is always ready in less than 45 seconds. This people are ridiculously fast, unlike SUBWAY and other sandwich places.

This is for delivery, not eat in or take out. I'm not sure what the shop looks like, but when I heard we were ordering from JJ's I definitely was no ecstatic about it. As a vegetarian ordering the veggie sandwich, I've ended up with....fish-like substances on my sammies one too many times (of which there were 2, since everyone deserves a second chance ;). However, I must say it was not from this location. We ordered offline and the delivery was made in 20 minutes. I ordered an unwich, basically a lettuce wrap. I give this place major props - we had 11 sandwiches, most with customizations, and they got ALL of them right. 4 stars because it's still just a basic sandwich place and I really don't think they're all that amazing.

Today was their customer appreciation day! $1 subs from 11am-3pm. I got the #4 Turkey. I think the bread makes the sandwich, and they definitely have awesome bread!

Love Jimmy John's. LOVE! however today at this location, it seemed like they were all about the FAST and not about the Quality. I understand the no sprouts thing anymore and I'm okay with that. However, forgetting the KEY ingredient in a sub and then sending me on my way really stinks. I watched them make it and should have said something but really I thought I was wrong. How could they have forgotten? Won't stop going to Jimmy John's, just glad that I live in between this store and another one:)

Question: How many employees does it take to run a sub shop the size of your living room? Answer: 12 or so. I've been a fan of this place since I used to go to one in Ohio. Very fresh and very very fast. I don't know how they do it. The sandwiches come on a delicious whole grain wheat sliced bread, or you can get a plain white sub roll. The options are fairly normal: turkey ("Beach Club"), tuna ("Sorry Charlie"), italian ("The Vito"), roast beef, etc. But the quality and taste are definitely a step up from Subway and the like. The weird part of today's visit was the overwhelming amount of attention we received when we entered the place. I first noticed that there were only 6 or 7 tables in the place, yet there were 12+ employees stuffed back behind the service counter. And aside from the obnoxious "Welcome to ____!" that some places of so fond of, this place shouted out "Welcome to Jimmy John's" at us and then proceeded to GAUK at us as we previewed the menu. They were really bored I guess! Every movement we made was observed carefully until we made our final decision on which sub to get. At the end of the meal, I got up to get a refill and left my chips on the table for a minute. Someone came by and threw them away. They really are bored there, to the point of inventing new chores. "Can I walk you out?" Haha. It's darn good and fast, I highly recommend... but watch out for the excessive number of employees. Some of them could be bots.

Hard to find parking at lunch and VERY limited seating.... But they serve customers so fast!!! I was in and out in under 5 minutes. The roast beef has a great flavor, the bread is a perfect soft chewable texture and the prices are very fair. 10" combo drink and chips $8

Man, we need to consolidate the Jimmy Johns entries. On their official website, when you search Winter Park, this address comes up, so I am reviewing on this. However there are more reviews on the other one and more recent reviews on the other one. Anyway, it's the same place! There is only one Jimmy John's in Winter Park on Orange Ave. Maybe they changed addresses at some point and moved next door. Regardless, they get five stars. The sandwiches are amazing. I was first introduced to Jimmy Johns in college and I am now a fan for life. All of their sandwiches are great but my favorite way to order them is the "unwich" where it's all the stuff listed wrapped in a giant piece of lettuce. It's a little less filling this way, but it's so good. I had one today for lunch and it was amazing. If you haven't had Jimmy John's by now, you are missing out. This particular location is great and super convenient. It's clean and well organized. They do have a lot of extra employees laying around but I guess that's for when the delivery rush kicks in around lunch time. They are very fast. You call and they deliver right away. Read Jeff O.'s review. It's hilarious and he talks about the extra employees hanging around. Unfortunately, his review is on the other Winter Park entry. We need to consolidate them!

Lightning fast, courteous service and fresh tasting ingredients put this place above the other fast food (sub) places. And they deliver. Limited seating so you may need a plan B if you are going with company for lunch.

This restaurant was a good find for the traveller. Jimmie John's is run by college students it appears and they can throw a sandwich together very quickly. The delivery was very quick to the hotel a few blocks away. Highly recommend for the traveller to avoid room service rates!

FAST! Came in, sub assembly guy asked me what I wanted. I told him. Register guy asked if I wanted anything else. Told him I wanted a medium drink n chips. Sub was ready by the time I finished paying. BANG...DONE. And they taste good. Thanks JJ for living up to the commercials! Sincerely, Happy n satisfied in Orlando

Healthy and fresh ingredients. Definitely lives up to its marketing of extremely fast service and delivery. Good portioned sizes for the price. Order ahead and pick up to save time if you already know what you want. They have a bar of ingredients to choose from to make your own. Perfect for lunch or a late night craving. Beats subway in its quality. Friendly staff.

As someone who visit is this location, I was very surprised when I called to inform the owner/ manager that they had given me a sandwich with parchment paper on it. I stopped in on my way to east orlando. The only solution the owner thought had was I drive back to the store and give them the sub an they will make me a new one. All of this he thought would be great to send this message through his employee instead of picking up the phone. So here... You want proof? Here you have it with a nice review of my account of your horrible customer service!

I think what makes them unique is the quality of the bread they use. It really makes the sub special in my opinion. They also prepare and serve your order super fast. This location always gets our order out so fast we can barely believe it.

1- Got serious food poisoning from them (no question, it was from this Jimmy Johns) 2- Told them. 3- Nothing. I'd suggest walking a few doors down to Eden's Fresh. yelp.com/biz/edens-fresh…

Pretty good sandwich place all in all. I love their beach club...as it is my go to order, but for some reason this jimmy johns did not put alfalfa sprouts in my sandwich. I guess when they put sprouts optional, they really mean it is optional for them to put it on unless you ask. I'll know for next time. They never bothered asking me. Also, I really feel like there is some depersonalization going on in that chain. This is not the first Jimmy Johns that I have felt this way about either. But I feel like there is a really prominent 'love and shove' attitude with the staff, as they take your order, don't bother asking if you want it customized in any way, and shove your sandwich out to you. Maybe I'm being picky or perhaps I have high standards, but I wish I didn't feel like I have no say with what goes in/on my sandwich. Other than that, the beach club is really good.

On the worst day of traffic, my location is less than 5 minutes away from their store. They won't deliver. When calling the store, the person on the phone thought it was funny they can't deliver here. I sent a feedback to Jimmy John's corporate, the response was a total blow off. Since I sent a response to Jimmy John's and got a blow off, well then here you go. A published review.

A group of us ordered delivery from this location for lunch. We were very impressed with how fast the delivery was. It felt as they came to deliver as soon as we got off the phone to order. However, our subs were terrible... The bread was extremely hard and rubbery. Definitely, not fresh. Flavor was nothing more than mediocre. By the time we were done with our lunch, we were left with unsatisfied feelings and jaws in pain from the intense workout. If this is what you're looking for in a sub, go for it. This location definitely ruined it for the rest of the jimmy johns out there for us. Two stars, only because of fast delivery.

really good ordered it while I was at work and the guy was literally calling my phone 5min later to come pick it up outside. I got the italian night club, the bread was a little oil even though on the online order form I check ez oil & Vinegar, and the lettuce could have been fresher but overall still better than subway and a hell of alot better ( and cheaper) than what their offering in the florida hospital south cafateria (aka trashateria)! will be back

I love the sandwiches at all Jimmy Johns. First time visiting this one. The service and food are as great as the rest of them. The only thing about this location is the parking is a pain. If you are going for lunch, better get there early. Parking lot is small and not convienent. I ended up parking a few blocks away after I was tired of waiting for a spot to open. Also I was enlightened as to what the "Unwich" was. I thought I ordered an 8 inch Vito but apparently I ordered an 8 inch unwich Vito which is the same thing except no bread but wrapped in a piece of lettuce. 8inch sounds so much like "Unwich" when said fast. I take respsonsibility for recieving an "Unwich" instead of a "Sandwich" I guess I take for granted that subs usually come served on bread. Just a tip in case you are ordering quickly. I recieved the wrong thing due to a communication breakdown I guess. Not a mark against this place though.
